AFT’s T1038 PVC Anti Abrasion Tape is made from UV Stable Super Clear PVC Film laminated with a clear transfer adhesive. It is designed as a permanent solution to paint and surface abrasion on a wide variety of surfaces. In particular, but not restricted to, Automotive applications to protect against paint damage that can be caused by rubber door seals, doorway entry points, boot and tailgate loading areas etc… T1038 has excellent non-yellowing long term UV resistance qualities and is virtually undetectable once applied to the painted surface. T1038 is generally supplied in 15 meter roll lengths and be cut in widths up to a meter. It can be made into custom lengths for specific fitting kit applications or also be die cut into specific shapes.
